Abstract

Description Alternative: ABSTRACT: The use of the MRP method can improve the efficiency of raw materials by 7.24 percent annually. Thus, the warehouse can be used efficiently and all activities to purchase raw materials can be controlled and can avoid the excessive purchase of raw materials. For this reason, PT. Schering Indonesia needs to base its purchase of raw materials in accordance with the quantity of raw material requirements required in accordance with the recommended purchase frequency. The decrease in the cost of procuring raw materials by 7.24 percent annually is only based on the calculation of two types of raw materials namely Salbutamol sulfur and Teofillin anhydrous. Meanwhile, if other raw materials are counted, savings can already be estimated that can be done by PT. Schering Indonesia is much greater than 7.24 percent. Regarding the effect of using the MRP model where the raw material of Salbutamol sulfur and Teofillin anhydrous in the warehouse is 542.27 Kg + 463.23 Kg = 1005.50 Kg. Thus, the warehouse can be used as efficiently as possible, which is means storage costs can be used effectively
